Jubilee Creek is a wonderful place, filled with small waterfalls and indigenous trees. Jubilee Creek is well known for hiking, bicycle rides and lovely family and friend picnic spots.
There are all kinds of insects and animals like the Knysna elephant who’s tracks were found last year by workers of jubilee creek. There are wild baboons, seen and heard quiet often and different wild birds. It is cosy in winter and fresh in summer!
Almost every Sunday I ask my mom if we can go Jubilee Creek for a swim in the icy cold pebbled stream or a relaxed walk up the rivers. There are also gold mines, but don’t get too excited, the mines were cleaned out a long time ago! So try your best this spring and get out there. Happy Spring Day!
With love, Catherine.
