What a treasure, and how lucky are we in our small town of Knysna to have such a clever and lovely shop. We may not have the big city giant malls of all-the-same and we may feel deprived accordingly, but I have seldom come across such a well put-together, beautiful and full-of-stunning-choices space.

If you’re looking for a gift for anyone this is the place, there is something beautiful, unusual and unique for all, even for your pets. And if you need a spoil-yourself-treat, you’ll find it there too.

I absolutely love the home they have created for their fanciful creatures depicting each element of the store;

The Magnolia Bird standing proud over the botanical art section where you will find beautiful plants, terrariums, books, sumptuous fresh flowers and all things garden!

Mr Mielie Bass who looks after the gentlemen’s section. Here you’ll see awesome mancessories, TJIKKO ware, Wren design and all kinds of cool guy stuff.

Fluttering over the pretties and luxurious pamper goodies is Miss Broccoli Moth.

The Playful Beet Monkey swings in the little-ones section playing amongst gorgeous clothes, toys, books and more.

And then, the lovely long-necked Mushroom Buck who keeps her eye on the home décor and homeware pieces.

With this much to explore, it’s ALWAYS a good time to visit Madam Botany.
